At Animal Care Clinic, we are dedicated to providing top-notch veterinary care to the pets of Huntsville and its surrounding communities. Our mission is to deliver compassionate, relationship-based care that maximizes the quality of life for each of our patients. Our team of experienced veterinarians is committed to staying at the forefront of veterinary medicine, ensuring that our clients receive the best possible treatment for their pets.
Our clinic is led by Dr. Susan Muller Esneault, who has been a passionate advocate for animal welfare since the age of 5. Dr. Esneault graduated with highest honors from Auburn University's College of Veterinary Medicine in 1983 and has been practicing veterinary medicine for over three decades. She holds veterinary licenses in Alabama, Texas, Florida, and Georgia and has a special interest in soft tissue and orthopedic surgery, as well as internal medicine, particularly dermatology, immunology, and microbiology.
We also have Dr. Ellen Rawls, a Huntsville native who graduated Summa Cum Laude with a bachelor’s degree in Zoology from Auburn University. She continued her studies at Auburn University’s College of Veterinary Medicine, graduating Magna Cum Laude in 2020. Dr. Rawls is passionate about relationship-based care and has a particular interest in cardiology and internal medicine. Her dedication to her patients and her community is evident in her volunteer work with the Friends of Moose Medical Brigade, which provides veterinary care to remote villages in Honduras.
Additionally, our team includes Dr. Kevin Anderson, who has been with us since graduating from veterinary school in 2003. Dr. Anderson specializes in orthopedic surgery, particularly torn anterior cruciate surgery and femoral head osteoectomy, as well as ultrasound and small animal internal medicine. His extensive experience and commitment to his patients make him a valuable member of our team.
