Our founder, Dr. Vanya Moreno, moved to Tucson in 1993 to pursue her Ph.D. in Animal Behavior, specifically in animal learning and communication. With a deep passion for animal welfare and a commitment to positive reinforcement techniques, Dr. Moreno has established Animal Magnetism as a trusted name in the community for pet training and behavior modification.
We specialize in teaching dog and cat owners how to communicate effectively with their pets. Our classes are designed to be practical and applicable in the home environment, where 90% of owner-pet interaction takes place. Our puppy kindergarten class focuses on essential skills like bite inhibition, socialization, housebreaking, and basic commands. For older dogs, our basic obedience class covers house manners and behavior modification techniques to address common issues like barking and jumping.
Our services are tailored to meet the unique needs of each pet and their owner. We offer home-based training sessions, including rattlesnake avoidance training, which is particularly effective when conducted in the dog's own environment.
