Dr. Hollway is a York County native and realized her love for animals at a very early age. Growing up on a farm surrounded by horses, dogs, and cats, it was easy to recognize her passion for the field of veterinary medicine.
Dr. Hollway attended Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in St. Kitts and completed her clinical year at Kansas State University.
Upon graduation from veterinary school, she started her career at an emergency hospital outside of Philadelphia where she worked for two years. After giving birth to her beautiful daughter, she and her husband decided to return to York to be closer to family.
Dr. Hollway has 2 dogs, Godiva a “coconut retriever” from St. Kitts, and Jamie a rescue from the SPCA. She also has 5 cats; Louie, who has saved many lives of his own as a feline blood donor at Kansas State University; Fendi, a long-haired purr-machine and lap-warmer; Vanilla Bean, a rescue who melted her heart when a client found her outside; Mya, affectionately known as “My-My” by her daughter; and lastly, our newest addition, a cat who thinks 3 legs is all you really need, Hiccup.
