Kim moved around quite a bit as a child, and her family’s Cocker Spaniel quickly became her best friend in the world. She cannot remember a time in her life when she wasn’t caring for pets. When the opportunity arose for her to enter the world of veterinary care, she didn’t hesitate. Now, Kim is proud to serve the pets and animal owners of Indianapolis here at 30th Street Animal Hospital.
Kim began her animal-care journey in DeLand, Florida, where she started working for a boarding kennel. She would remain there for the next seven years, developing a foundational knowledge of veterinary medicine that serves her well to this day. Next, Kim moved to North Carolina and signed on with a local clinic, learning even more from her boss and close confidant who had previously worked as a professor of veterinary medicine at Ohio State University.
After relocating to Indiana, Kim joined the 30th Street Animal Hospital family in January of 2006. She’s been serving the pets and animal parents of the area ever since—Kim especially enjoys performing dental procedures and forming lasting bonds with her patients and their owners. She’s also an avid pet foster parent, and is proud to have successfully raised, fostered, and re-homed hundreds of kittens over the years!
Kim and her husband have six children between them, as well as multiple grandchildren. They share their home with one cat, Romeo, as well as three dogs. When she isn’t spending time with her family and pets or tending to the area’s animal companions here at the clinic, Kim can be found relaxing with a good book or tending to her garden.
