Dr. Scott Abadie graduated from LSU School of Veterinary Medicine in 1982 and began his career at a clinic in Uptown New Orleans. After three years, he started thinking about opening his own practice and did so in 1991. He built his practice from being the only veterinarian to hiring Associate Veterinarians to assist, and he opened his new practice just down the road in 2005 where we are still found today. Dr. Abadie built an incredible client base with his medical skills and personality. He served as a role model, mentor, but most of all a dedicated friend to many clients and clinic staff during his time practicing. Dr. Abadie retired in early 2024 leaving behind a team and clientele that will forever be grateful to him [citation].
