Dr. Elizabeth Alexander spent her childhood in the Midwest where she discovered at a young age her passion for caring for animals. She first attended the University of Michigan, in Ann Arbor, where she earned her Bachelors of Science. She then continued her education and graduated from Louisiana State University’s School of Veterinary Medicine, in Baton Rouge.
After graduating, Dr. Alexander moved to the Tampa Bay area in Florida, where she worked in both general practice and in emergency medicine. In 2013, she was thrilled to become the owner of Ambassador Animal Hospital. She has established her roots in Greenville, and is excited to be a part of the rich history of Ambassador Animal Hospital, and of Greenville. She values the long-lasting partnerships she gets to build with her clients, caring for their furry family members.
In her spare time, Dr. Alexander enjoys the outdoors, the arts, and spending time with her family. She and her husband, Mike, have four children (Addison, Jonah, Samuel, and Gwen), 2 cats, and 2 dogs. Dr. Alexander feels truly blessed to be able to wake up every day and enjoy her profession. She loves caring for companion animals, and loves even more being able to send home happy and healthy pets [citation].
