Dr. Emily Alfieris was born and raised in Rock Hill, SC, where she knew she wanted to become a veterinarian from a very young age. She even wrote an autobiography in the fifth grade with an entire chapter dedicated to her future goals as a “pet vet.” Dr. Alfieris went on to attend undergraduate school at Clemson University and veterinary school at the University of Georgia. She is married to her husband, John, whom she met while at Clemson. Together they have two children (Arthur and Rebecca) and one fur-baby, a German Shorthaired Pointer named Riggs. The family loves to take walks all together in the evenings around their Greenville neighborhood. Dr. Alfieris also loves cheering on her Clemson Tigers in college football, relaxing on the beach, and spending time with her extended family. She is thrilled to be a part of the Ambassador team, and is committed to treating every pet with high-quality care and love.
