Dr. Patricia Alexander is from Virginia Beach, Virginia. She received dual bachelor's degrees (French Literature and Language, and Biology) from the University of Virginia. She graduated from the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine with Honors. In 2001, she did an internship in small animal medicine and surgery at the prestigious Animal Medical Center in New York City. Dr. Alexander practiced in Portland, Oregon for several years before moving to Sonoma County where she spent three years at PetCare. She is also licensed in veterinary acupuncture and is able to offer an integrative approach to veterinary medicine drawing from both Western and Eastern healing philosophies. She is dedicated to offering compassionate care and promoting balanced, healthy, comfortable, and happy lives for our pets. In her free time, Dr. Alexander likes to be outdoors, garden, travel, scuba dive, and of course, spend time with her kitties and her son [citation].
