I was raised in Loogootee, Indiana. I never had any siblings, and animals were always my best friends and playmates. I was always bringing home animals that I found that needed care. I was able to turn this passion into a career by studying veterinary medicine. I graduated from Purdue University with a bachelor's in animal science. I then went on an adventure to veterinary school by attending Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine. Ross University is located on the island of St. Kitts and Nevis, in the West Indies. I graduated from Ross University in 2018. Since then, I have been practicing small animal medicine. During this time, I felt that I needed to do more for my patients, which has led me to continue my education at the Chi Institute for acupuncture. I am very excited to start this journey to continue my education in Eastern medicine.
I still reside in Loogootee with my husband Jared. We have a large family of dogs, cats, goats, and donkeys. In our spare time, we enjoy spending time outdoors, cooking, and traveling. Our favorite place is the Caribbean Islands.
