Michelle Peacock has concentrated on small animal Emergency Medicine in both Colorado Springs, Colorado and since 2011 here in Reno, Nevada. She soon after graduation from CSU purchased a mixed animal practice in Reno, Nevada and concentrated on small animal and equine medicine, and sport horse injuries. She Commissioned in the US Army Veterinary Corps in May 2001 and was stationed in Washington DC at the National Capital District Veterinary Command during the national disaster of September 11, 2001, providing veterinary care to the working dogs of the US Military, Pentagon Protective Services, US Capital Police, US Customs as well as to the Caisson horses at Arlington National Cemetery. Since leaving the Army in 2004, Dr. Peacock has concentrated on small animal Emergency Medicine in both Colorado Springs, Colorado and since 2011 here in Reno, Nevada.
Dr. Peacock is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, the Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care Society, and the Nevada Veterinary Medical Association. Outside of veterinary medicine, she enjoys trail running, swimming, biking, and hiking, has competed in Triathalons and Spartan races. Dr. Peacock is married to Bruce Delaney and has adopted several small terrier mixes: William Wallace, Lulu Lemon, Mhic, and Izzy Moon [citation].
