Dr. Sichnik graduated from the Hungarian state University of Veterinary Medical Science in 1985. After practicing in a teaching hospital of the University, he moved into a private practice. In 1993, he obtained a NY state license at Cornell University. As an emergency veterinarian, he was the emergency medicine provider for the lower Hudson Valley area in the Emergency Clinic of Poughkeepsie. Dr. Sichnik opened the Animal Hospital of Morris Park in 1994. His academic credentials include the formulation and development of a unique medical treatment for dogs and cats who have ear infections, including the successful treatment of chronic non-responsive ear problems. His medical interests include dogs and cats, orthopedic surgery, soft tissue surgery, internal medicine, ophthalmology, and dermatology.
