Dr. Bishop is an East Tennessee native who has called the mid-south home since 2017. She graduated from the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine in 2016. Dr. Bishop has practiced in emergency medicine since graduation and has a special interest in surgical and reproductive emergencies. She enjoys rescue work and frequently provides veterinary care for local and national rescues such as Tennessee Dachshund Rescue, Tails of Hope Dog Rescue, FurKid Rescue, and Stray Network Animal Rescue. Dr. Bishop shares her home with her herd of rescue dachshunds, a fluffle of rescue rabbits, and two pet rats. In her spare time, she can be found cheering on the Memphis Grizzlies, the Atlanta Braves, and the Tennessee Vols as well as spending time with her many pets and her horse Eggnog (a rescue from Memphis Animal Services).
