Sue Bosted came to Idaho in 1976 and has never wanted to live anywhere else. She graduated from the University of Idaho and went on to attain her DVM from Washington State University in 1989. While her primary focus has always been on the small animals and horses, she enjoyed working on cattle and sought a practice where she could see and treat all species. Animal Medical Clinic fit the bill perfectly and she was hired in 1989 where she later became a full partner. Dr. Bosted has also been the president of the Magic Valley Veterinary Medicine association as well as president of the State Association (IVMA). She taught in the veterinary technician program at College of Southern Idaho for 6 years as well as co-authoring a book about large animal clinical techniques. She is an avid dressage rider and fly fisher in her spare time. She and Dr. Gillespie were married in 1998 and have one son [citation].
