Dr. Abigail Olson comes from multiple generations of Skagit Valley natives. She attended Washington State University for both her undergraduate and Doctorate degrees and practiced in California as a dairy and small animal veterinarian for three years after graduating. While central California was an exciting place to live, nothing compares to living in the Pacific Northwest so she decided to move closer to family. Dr. Olson is passionate about dermatology, preventative medicine, and building lifelong relationships with animals and their families. She also loves working with livestock including sheep, goats, and cattle. Her posse includes an Australian Shepherd named Miles, a tripod cattle dog named Mercy, Oakie the cat, her horse Lakota, and a Jersey cow named Cami. Outside of veterinary medicine, she loves water and snow skiing and cheering on the Cougs in Martin Stadium. Dr. Olson is thrilled to be joining the incredible team at AVH and is looking forward to serving the local community [citation].
