Dr. Lauri Geater is originally from Brinkley, Arkansas. She attended Mississippi State University for both her undergraduate and veterinary degrees as part of the Early-Entry Program at MSU. She graduated from MSU College of Veterinary Medicine in 2000.
Dr. Geater practiced in Tennessee after graduation and then moved back to central Arkansas in 2001. She has practiced in Little Rock, North Little Rock, and Cabot over the last 18 years. She is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, the Arkansas Veterinary Medical Association, and the American Association for Rehabilitation Practitioners.
Rehabilitation therapy is her passion, and she loves helping pets recover from orthopedic surgery, spinal injuries, and arthritis symptoms. She received her certification from the Canine Rehabilitation Institute in 2014.
Dr. Geater is an avid college football fan and supporter of the Mississippi State Bulldogs. She has been married to her husband, James, for 23 years and they share two sons – Chris and Bradley [citation].
