Lester Latino earned his degree in Zootechny from the Faculty of Animal Science at the National Agrarian University in Nicaragua, Central America, graduating in 1999. With 12 years of experience in animal health for large species, including cattle, horses, goats, pigs, and alpacas, Lester has established a solid career in the field. He spent 5 years as an advisor for the Livestock Genetics Improvement Project in Nicaragua and 7 years as an independent technician in agricultural development programs. In December 2023, Lester joined the Bay Ridge Animal Hospital team. Outside of work, he is passionate about soccer, baseball, and music. He resides in Edgewater, MD, with his wife, Julissa, and their children, Andrés, Angelo, and Maria Belén. He remains in close contact with his youngest son, Emmanuel, who lives in Nicaragua. Lester lives by the motto: "The difficult is done; the impossible is attempted."
