Dr. Amalia Lopez was born in Venezuela, South America. She began working in the veterinary field when she was 15 years old. She held different positions from dog training to being a veterinary technician before becoming a veterinarian. Her one true passion. She attended Central University of Venezuela where she received her degree in Doctor of Veterinary Medicine, graduating in 1990. Following veterinary school, she worked in a private practice until 2002. When she moved to the United States, she completed the certification for foreign graduates and received her licensure in Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Lopez practiced in Broward County for more than 10 years, where she gained exceptional competence in medical cases management, dentistry, and surgery. She is fluent in English and Spanish. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband Ernesto and 2 sons David and Daniel, along with her loving cat and dog "Baxter" and “ Mancha “.
