Dr. Erin Spader grew up just outside of Burlington, Vermont. She headed south for college, graduating from Clemson University in South Carolina. She received her DVM from the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine in 2009. While in Florida, Dr. Spader was certified in acupuncture and Chinese Veterinary Food Therapy by the Chi Institute. Dr. Spader became the owner of the Biddeford Animal Hospital in May of 2012. In her free time, Dr. Spader enjoys exploring Maine, hiking, and cooking with her husband Al. But lately, she and Al have been keeping busy raising their new twin sons, Desmond, and Hudson. Dr. Spader’s pets include Sawyer, a mischievous cat with no tail; Penny, a sweet Corgi mix; a female kitty with a lot of personality Shallan, and her newest addition a sweet Shih Tzu mix [citation].
