Dr. Caley Sciardi grew up watching her father work with animals and knew from a young age that she wanted to do the same. After getting her undergraduate and Master’s degree at the University of Florida, she traveled and lived in Australia with her now-husband working at a veterinary specialist hospital. A year later, she started at the University of Florida Veterinary Medical College and graduated in 2016. During school, she worked with a group that worked towards improving the populations of feral cat colonies as a TNR (trap, neuter/spay, return) program. She also realized her passion for surgery and dentistry. Since finishing, she has come back to work with her father, Dr. Craig Price, at Black Creek Veterinary Hospital. She now lives in Lake Asbury with her growing family consisting of Michael, her husband, and three children, Luca, Juniper, and Sonny, and 5 fur babies, an English Bulldog named Sookie, a Labradoodle named Sammy, and two cats – Tuco and Pumpkin Doodle. She enjoys working with the community and spending time with family. She is working every day with clients and their pets striving for high-quality medical care [citation].
