Originally from Maine, Dr. Rogers gained her passion for veterinary medicine after growing up with her childhood Labrador who had several illnesses over the years. Dr. Rogers graduated with a Bachelor of Science from Bay Path University in Massachusetts. From there she moved south and attended the University of Tennessee and received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine.
Dr. Rogers joined our Broadview team in 2019.
What inspired you to become a veterinarian?
My childhood dog Abbie had several different illnesses over the years. Because of this, I really developed a strong interest in solving the puzzles of medicine and overcoming challenges of treatments.
What is your favorite aspect of practicing veterinary medicine?
Anything feline!
Is there one particular area of veterinary medicine you gravitate towards?
I have a special interest in pain management, surgery, feline, and geriatric medicine.
What is something that you are really proud of, and why?
I am proud of the skills and knowledge obtained within the last several years as a young doctor, that I use to provide high quality care with my patients. I am also proud of developing and maintaining relationships with clients that allow them to trust their pet with my care and reach out to me with concerns and for guidance.
What is one of your goals at Broadview?
To establish long term relationships with my patients and clients and to provide patients with comfortable, stress-free visits. To educate clients so they have tools to improve and extend their furry family member’s life.
What do you share your life with?
My 3 cats and a horse.
What pets do you currently have?
I have a horse named Wrangler, and 3 cats named Fenway, Meeko, and Cayanne.
What are extracurricular activities do you enjoy?
In my spare time, I enjoy horseback riding, hiking, reading, and visiting local coffee shops.
