Dr. Patty Carcamo grew up and currently resides in Fairfax, Virginia. However, she spent four wonderful years in Buenos Aires, Argentina, where she rescued a ten-day old kitten. She received both her undergraduate degree and her DVM degree from Cornell University. Prior to joining the Burke Veterinary Clinic team, Dr. Carcamo practiced in Ithaca, New York, Vestal, New York, and Burke, Virginia. Her special interests include surgery, dermatology, and end of life care.
Outside of work, Dr. Carcamo enjoys cooking and baking, spending time with family, traveling, and photography. It was her dream to be a veterinarian since she was eight years old. She also has two rescue cats.
