Dr. Eduardo Guevara was raised in the rural south Texas town of Carrizo Springs. He began his college career at Southwest Texas Junior College in Uvalde, Texas, followed by completion of his bachelor’s (1998) and master’s (2001) degrees in Animal Science from Texas A&M University-Kingsville. Dr. Guevara received his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 2005 from Tuskegee University School of Veterinary Medicine, Tuskegee, Alabama. After graduation, Dr. Guevara moved to San Antonio, Texas, where he has been practicing both large and small animal medicine. His special interests include soft tissue and orthopedic surgery. When not in the clinic, Dr. Guevara devotes time to his large animal medicine special interest in equine reproduction. He is also the owner and operator of Mobile Equine Veterinary Services, a fully equipped, mobile vet service dedicated to the health and well-being of horses in the greater San Antonio area and South Texas [citation][4][5].
