Dr. Caitlin Johnson graduated from The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2015, where she served as president of her class all four years. She completed her undergraduate studies at OSU as well, earning her Bachelor of Science in Agriculture in 2011. She grew up on a small farm in north central Ohio where she raised horses, chickens, and goats.
After graduation, Dr. Johnson practiced at a rural mixed animal clinic near her hometown for 6 years. In 2021 she made her way back to Columbus, where she was a wellness center veterinarian before joining the crew at Cedar Hill Animal Clinic in the Spring of 2023. Her professional interests include canine reproduction, soft tissue surgery, and providing her patients with compassionate palliative and end of life care. She is passionate about practicing using a spectrum of care approach, working with pet parents to ensure they understand all their options and formulating a plan that best fits their needs and those of their pets. Dr. Johnson loves all dogs and cats but Boxer dogs are her favorite!
In her free time, Dr. Johnson loves working with and showing her American Paint Horse, Winnie. She lives in Pataskala with her partner Adrienne, their two dogs (a Labrador named Goose and a Boxer named Finleigh), an axolotl named Huevos, and an assortment of fish. Dr. Johnson enjoys traveling, attending concerts, and of course cheering on the Buckeyes.
