Dr. Stephen Meister graduated from the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine in 1999. After graduating, he practiced Feline medicine in Philadelphia for 1 year, after which he participated in a Veterinary dental residency at the University of Pennsylvania from 2000-2002.
For the next 14 years, he was a general practitioner, primarily with dogs and cats in Philadelphia. During this time he explored his interests in Dentistry, orthopedic surgery, and regenerative medicine. He has spent the last 5 years practicing in Wayne, Pennsylvania honing his skills with small mammals and Exotic pets.
Dr. Meister is also a Member of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons, the American Association of Feline Practitioners and the American Veterinary Dental Society. He had served as a Captain in the US Army Reserves Public Health Command. He currently resides in Philadelphia, has two children, Fionnaula, who attends Penn State in Musical Theater and Raighnaid, attending high school in Philadelphia; with two long-haired Chihuahuas, two tarantulas and a parakeet [citation].
