Being influenced by nature documentaries and animal conservationists such as Steve Irwin and Jane Goodall, Dr. Hipp found her calling in the veterinary field at an early age. Since then, her path was clear. She pursued her undergraduate degree in Animal Science with an emphasis in pre-veterinary at Cal Poly Pomona and graduated with her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Western University. During that time, Dr. Hipp worked with a zoo assisting in wildlife rehabilitation. Now, her primary interests are exotics and emergency medicine, but she is always willing to help any pet in need.
Although Dr. Hipp envisions a long veterinary career, she hopes to transition careers in the future to become a veterinary professor. Between examinations and surgeries, Dr. Hipp can often be found teaching the next generation of animal lovers and future veterinarians alike. However, when she’s away from the office, she spends as much time as possible reading and playing basketball with her son, AJ, while her canine BFF, Mason, provides moral support.
