Dr. Scott MacGee graduated from Kansas State University in 1997. He has practiced in the Kansas City area since 1999. He has taught dental wet-labs locally and at the CVC. Dr. MacGee is a committee member of the Exam Committee and the Residency Program Administrative Committee. He has served as committee chair for the Training Support Committee, RPAC, and Review and Assessment Committees for the American Veterinary Dental College. Dr. MacGee is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and the Kansas City Veterinary Medical Association. He spent his first year of practice in Juneau, Alaska working on many native wildlife and different types of animals. He is married and has three wonderful children, Carson, Makenna, and Carleigh. When not performing root canal therapy or oral surgeries, he enjoys bird watching, photography, reading books, and spending time with his family. He received the Debra B. Smith Editor’s Award for the most outstanding manuscript publication in the Journal of Veterinary Dentistry in 2013 and the Presidential Medal for Stewardship in 2022.
