Katrina Amberg grew up in the Finger Lakes, spending time with her neighbor’s horses and working on a local dairy farm. She graduated from Cornell University in 2015 with her Bachelor's in Animal Science, focusing on dairy cattle. During her time at Cornell, she interned at both large and small animal clinics, furthering her love for creatures of all sizes. Dr. Amberg graduated from the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine in 2019. There she was able to gain further experience in the dairy industry, as well as work on a nearby sheep farm. She has worked as a mixed animal practitioner in the Finger Lakes, but is excited to be up in the North Country. Dr. Amberg is interested in dairy production medicine and small animal preventative care. In her free time, she enjoys the outdoors, music, theatre and spending time with her cat, Miri [citation].
