Dr. Michael Borowiec is a graduate of Orchard Park High School (1978), Cornell University (B.S. 1982), and Cornell University a second time (D.V.M. 1988). He has practiced veterinary medicine and surgery in Western New York since 1988. After gaining valuable experience in multiple veterinary practices in WNY for his first 10 years post graduation, Dr. Mike became a small business owner himself and opened the doors of Furry Friends on November 11, 1997. The Furry Friends logo is Dr. Mike's creation, and the practice was designed and partially built by him. His mission statement is simple: "Take care of your staff, take care of your clients, and the rest will take care of itself." [citation]
