Seeking to further his education in dentistry, Dr. Duke completed a course of study for a human dental assistant at a local community college from 1988 to 1997. Serving the community and organized veterinary medicine have always been important to Dr. Duke. He has served as the president, board member, secretary, and program chairman of the local veterinary association. On the state level, Dr. Duke has served on advisory committees and the Wellness Committee that supervises impaired veterinarians and technicians. He has been a continuous member of the Alabama Veterinary Medical Association for 36 years.
