Dr. Laurence E. Galle is a native of Ocean Springs, MS. After five years of small animal practice in Gautier and Ocean Springs, MS, he completed a small animal internship at Oklahoma State University and a one-year post doctoral research fellowship at the University of Missouri-Columbia. He then entered a veterinary and comparative ophthalmology residency program at the University of Missouri-Columbia. Dr. Galle received board certification through the American College of Veterinary Ophthalmologist in 2002. His research and special interests included ophthalmic manifestations of viral disease, cataract surgery, and corneal surgery. He served as a faculty member at Auburn University and the University of Missouri-Columbia.
