Dr. O'Leary obtained her DVM from Auburn University in Alabama and went into private practice for a while in Worcester, Acton, and Athol, MA. She then went on to get a Masters of Public Health from the University of Massachusetts and worked as a professor at Purdue University. Dr. O'Leary was also a Veterinary Medical Officer for the state of Massachusetts food protection program. She lives in Rochdale, MA with her husband Brian, daughters Bridget and Tessa, a sheltie named Laddie, four cats, a parakeet, and a fish tank. Dr O’Leary spends most of her free time as a chauffer for her girls, but she also enjoys hiking, biking, gardening, and is a member of the English Hand Bell Choir.
