Andrea Hobe received her Bachelor of Arts (BA) from Colby College, in Maine, in 1999. As a Floridian, she had no idea what she was getting herself into and swore that, after graduation, she would never live anywhere where it snows ever again.
Andrea has always had a love for animals and knew she wanted to be involved in veterinary medicine since she was a child. She joined Dunwoody Animal Medical Center in 2005 as a customer service representative and veterinary assistant. She has been with the practice since then.
Andrea shows and competes all over the country in various dog sports with her Bearded Collies. Her dogs are also talented actors appearing in many movies, television shows, commercials, and print ads. In their free time, her dogs are certified therapy dogs visiting local hospitals, rehab centers, schools, etc. She also has a lazy cat at home, Cletus, whose only job is to eat and watch TV. Andrea’s favorite part of veterinary medicine is helping to keep pets active and living their best life.
