Maggie was raised in Brownsburg, IN and has always surrounded herself with animals. She has had pets like rabbits, hamsters, toads, fish, dogs, and even Madagascar hissing cockroaches. She graduated from Purdue University Fort Wayne with a B.S. in Biology in 2023, and expanded her passion for animals through working at a local animal shelter following graduation. Maggie has always had an interest in animal medicine and behavior, and was eager to join our DVC team in the Fall of 2024. Maggie has 4 furry family members at home – “Rocky” a boxer/pit mix, “Chucho” and “Maple” who are shih tzus, and a flame-point cat named “Mustang.” [citation]
