Dr. Emily Dutton is a veterinarian who established Dutton Veterinary Services in June 2017. Originally from Ohio, she graduated from The Ohio State University in 2012 before moving to her current location to work in mixed practice. As a business owner, Dr. Dutton enjoys working closely with farmers and ranchers to improve their operations and ensure their animals’ health and productivity. She particularly enjoys working with livestock and horses. She holds a master’s degree in dairy nutrition and is a member of several professional organizations, including the American Association of Bovine Practitioners, American Association of Small Ruminant Practitioners, and American Association of Equine Practitioners. Dr. Emily is also certified in animal chiropractic by the Animal Chiropractic Certification Commission (ACCC) of the American Veterinary Chiropractic Association (AVCA). Dr. Dutton’s professional interests include production animal medicine and surgery. She has received several awards for her work in these areas, including the Veterinary Services Rural Practice Enhancement Grant from USDA APHIS in 2018 and the Veterinary Medicine Loan Repayment Program from USDA APHIS in 2021 and 2024. When not working, Dr. Dutton enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter, riding horses, reading, and knitting. She lives on a small farm with a variety of animals, including cows, horses, dogs, cats, and yaks
