Heide S. moved to Eagle River with her family in 2017. She shares her home with three pups: Venus, Zeus, and Scout. In her spare time, she loves to conquer fitness goals and enjoy time with her husband, three kids, and two grandchildren.
Heide's excitement for animal behavior and training began when she adopted Zeus as a puppy. Zeus had severe leg injuries and needed daily wound care and bandage changes. Teaching Zeus to allow her to help him created a connection and a bond that they enjoy to this day. This relationship inspired her to help others connect with their pets.
In 2020, she completed a training program with “Pawsitively Unleashed,” a dog training center in central Wisconsin. She continues to grow and learn as a dog trainer to help owners find their pet’s purpose and create a strong pet-owner connection.
Her mission is: “To find purpose in every dog and give the owners the tools to perfect it.”
Heide can help with various dog training issues, including puppy skills, adult dog skills, aggression, food guarding, walking/leash pulling, anxiety, crate training, biting, trick training, chewing, adjusting to a new baby/family member/new pet, dog/cat aggression, recall, nervous behavior, and AKC certifications.
She offers group classes, private training, AKC certifications, and training facility rentals. Group classes focus on positive reinforcement techniques and personalized training for each dog. Private training sessions can be held at the hospital, at home, virtually, or in public locations. She also offers training facility rentals for playdates, off-leash play, and practicing training in a new environment [citation].
