Dawn joined the East Hilliard team in 2023, bringing with her over 25 years of clinical experience. Her education includes a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture (Animal Science major) from The Ohio State University in 2004, an Associate of Applied Science in Veterinary Technology from Columbus State Community College in 2007, and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Veterinary Technology from St. Petersburg College (Florida) in 2020. Dawn’s primary interests in veterinary medicine include feline medicine, pocket pets, internal medicine, and client education. In 2023, Dawn became an adjunct faculty member in the Veterinary Technology program at Columbus State where she teaches clinical skills to technician students. Dawn shares her home with 4 ferrets, 5 indoor cats, and several outdoor cats who claimed her porch as their home. Outside of work, Dawn enjoys nature photography and is active in Girl Scouting, volunteering with her troop’s activities and at Council events [citation].
