Dr. Shoup graduated from Michigan State College of Veterinary Medicine in 2008 and practiced Veterinary Medicine 4 years in Chesaning Michigan. Once he started to settle in, Dr. Shoup and his wife Diana wanted to be closer to home while raising a family. With home for Dr. Shoup being in Athens, and his wife in Vicksburg, Galesburg seemed to be a perfect spot to call home. Dr. Shoup has known of his passion for animals and decided to start his path of becoming a Veterinarian since he was 8 years old. He loves working with pets and their parents on a personal level. In his free time, he loves spending time with his wife, 3 children, their Red Golden Retriever, Weimaraner, and German Short hair pointer, cats, many goats, and 2 ponies. He also enjoys hunting, fishing, and camping at their Cabin in the Upper Peninsula [citation].
