Samantha became a part of the team in December of 2018. Her journey in the veterinary field spans over 19 years with her veterinary career beginning in 2004 at an office in Mandeville, Louisiana where she spent 11 years before returning to Poplarville to be closer to her family. Since joining our clinic, Samm has played a role in maintaining the operation of our office and is always ready to offer assistance where needed. In November of 2023, she earned her Certified Veterinary Business Leader (CVBL) certification to add to her Associate degree. At home, Sam's love for animals extends to her own furry and feathered companions. She shares her life with a Pit Bull named Hopper, a Golden Pyrenees named Georgia, and a charming assortment of cats: Maggie, Mabel, Mama, and Spicy. Her family's farm includes cows, goats, chickens, geese, ducks, guineas, and peacocks. When she's not busy at the clinic, Sam enjoys spending quality time with her husband and three boys. Whether it's fishing, riding 4 wheelers, navigating the river, or simply embracing the great outdoors with her family. She loves each day at East Poplarville Vet Clinic and the satisfaction that comes with making a difference in the lives of animals and their human companions [citation].
