Dr. Anthea Joyner is originally from Memphis, Tennessee. She received her Bachelor of Arts from Harding University, Searcy, AR, and received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Mississippi State University – CVM. After graduating, she moved to Orlando, Florida and held various associate veterinarian positions. She has resided in Clermont, Florida since 2003. Dr. Joyner enjoys the variety of cases she sees in general practice. She has had many dogs (pitbulls) and cats over the years, all rescues, but currently resides with her senior cat Purrl, who relishes her position as Queen of the household. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, classic movies, trying new restaurants, target shooting, and spending time with her family [citation].
