Melissa has always loved animals and started out here as an intern. We like having her here so much she was hired to work the desk and then worked her way up to veterinary assistant. She now works behind the scenes on the weekends taking care of all our boarding cats. She also works at a local restaurant and enjoys working with people and animals. In her free time, Melissa enjoys showing horses, being in the barn, relaxing with her dog, and spending time with her husband, family and friends [citation].
