Dr. Shannon Tyler is originally from Hawaii and misses the sun ☼ and surf. After high school, she spent 11 years in the US Army as a veterinary technician, then decided to go to veterinary school herself. She graduated from Ross School of Veterinary Medicine in 2016 and started working in Georgia as a spay and neuter veterinarian. In 2017, she moved with her two daughters to Washington state, residing in Tumwater. Her family includes two dogs, two bunnies, and five cats. She enjoys painting, dancing, and exploring the PNW. Dr. Tyler’s special veterinary interests include preventative medicine, heartworm disease, soft tissue surgery, and anything feline related.
