Dr. Oonagh Wack enjoys surgery, ophthalmology cases, pocket pets, and the ability to have long-term collaborative relationships with clients and pets to make the lives of pets and their people better. She grew up in Canada and earned her Bachelor of Science from St. Francis Xavier in Nova Scotia and her veterinary doctorate from Atlantic Veterinary College on Prince Edward Island. She furthered her veterinary education as an intern in small animal medicine and surgery at the Western College of Veterinary Medicine in Saskatoon. The Maine lifestyle and the opportunities afforded in our state are what drew her back to Maine. She joined Falmouth Veterinary Hospital in 2005. Dr. Wack is married to John Keating, a veterinary pathologist working within the medical device industry. Drs. Wack and Keating have an extensive family including four dogs, four cats, and four tanks of fish. The pets have a medley of Rockstar names including Georgie Harrison, Iggy Pop, and Waylon. In her free time, she loves gardening, kayaking, traveling, live music, and hiking with her dogs.
