Joshua grew up mostly overseas as the son of a foreign service officer. He has lived on almost every continent except Australia and Asia. Living overseas, he has been around and taken care of all sorts of animals, ranging from turkeys, chickens and parrots to guinea pigs, horses, dogs and cats. Joshua graduated from Cape Cod Community College in Massachusetts, his home state, with an associate degree in business and marketing. He moved to Virginia in 2005 where he started as a veterinary receptionist and soon moved to working as an unlicensed veterinary technician and has been for the last 19 years. Joshua has almost completed the veterinary technician licensure program at Northern Virginia Community College, which we are excited for. On his days off, he is an avid hiker and disc golfer, with his long-time fur companion Lancelot, his Australian Shepherd. His hobbies include welding art, target shooting and watching stand-up comedy.
