Dr. Scheibe is a San Antonio native and knew from a very young age she wanted to become a doctor. She started working in veterinary hospitals at the tender age of 17 years old, eventually finding her love for emergency medicine. She graduated with her Bachelor of Science from Texas A&M and received her Doctorate from Kansas State University. She followed her passion and worked at various emergency hospitals as an emergency and critical care veterinarian, before switching to preventative medicine. She realized her dream and opened Fur and Feather Family Vet in 2016. After spending over 25 years in the veterinary profession, she still thinks she has the best job in the world. Along with enjoying all aspects of veterinary medicine, she has a special interest in providing care to pocket pets, including snakes In her spare time, she enjoys being outside playing volley ball and softball, and spending time with her horses, dogs, cats, and her rescue cockatoo, Tooey.
Fun fact: Dr. Scheibe won the state's 4H Food and Nutrition competition when she was in junior high for her fruit tart, and is an accomplished baker...
