Dr. Nelson received his undergraduate degree in Biology from St. John's University in Collegeville, Minnesota. In 1999, he received his Doctorate from the College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Minnesota. His areas of interest include small animal orthopedics, internal medicine, and minimally invasive procedures such as laparoscopy, arthroscopy, and ultrasound. Dr. Nelson enjoys spending time with his wife, Amy, together with their children, Kaitlyn, Benjamin, Alex, and Will.
