Carrie Jo Koonce graduated from Kansas State College of Veterinary Medicine in 2015. She practiced for four years at a rural mixed animal practice in Oklahoma before moving to Pampa and working for the Texas Animal Health Commission for three years. Deciding that regulatory medicine was not her dream, she joined GCVC where she could once again pursue her passion of caring for all species of animals, both large and small. Carrie Jo’s favorite part of practice is delivering calves. She brings new abilities to GCVC with her recent certification with the American Veterinary Chiropractic Association. She has already started adjusting patients and the feedback is incredibly positive!
Carrie Jo lives in Pampa with her husband Ty, the “world’s best” Great Dane Cutler and her Texas Lacy, Pre. She and her husband have four horses (Cat Daddy pictured). An interesting fact is that she and her husband play polo and she is currently trying to learn to rope.
