Camille Petrizzo was born in Manhattan, NY, and moved to Staten Island, NY at an early age. She attended St. Francis College in Brooklyn, NY where she majored in Biology. She then went on to earn her DVM degree at St. George’s University in Grenada, West Indies and completed her clinical rotation at Auburn University in Auburn, AL. Her love for animals was obvious at a very young age. She has volunteered and worked at various practices throughout the tri-state area during her younger years and throughout veterinary school. Camille joined Greater Staten Island as a rotating small animal medicine and surgery intern in 2018 and is currently a staff ER doctor. Her special interests include emergency medicine/critical care, surgery, and shelter medicine. She is a proud mom to her two rescue animals, Jenny and Vinny, and her toy poodle Maddy. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and pets as well as playing tennis and traveling.
