Dr. Mulry has been a practicing veterinarian for over 24 years. After many years as an associate veterinarian, she became determined to fulfill her life-long dream of owning her own animal hospital, ensuring she would be able to practice with the quality and compassion she has always believed in. In October 2012, that dream was realized and Healing Paws Veterinary Care was born.
Dr. Mulry received a Bachelor of Science from the University of Delaware in 1996 and received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Ross University in 2000. She is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA), the New Jersey Veterinary Medical Association (NJVMA), the American Veterinary Society of Animal Behavior (AVSAB), and the International Veterinary Academy of Pain Management (IVAPM). Her strongest interests are in behavior, pain management, and anesthesia. In 2017, Dr. Mulry became certified as a Low Stress Handling practitioner through the program created by the renowned Dr. Sophia Yin.
Dr. Mulry lives with her wonderful and supportive husband, Troy, and their two dogs, Betty and Vinny. She spends her free time strength training, reading, walking with her dogs, and just being outdoors as often as possible [citation].
