Cora Farley is a Lancaster county native. She grew up with cats, dogs, and horses and was an active member of Saddle Cinches 4-H and the Elizabethtown FFA. After high school, she moved west to attend Kansas State University, majoring in Animal Science and Industry with an Equine Science minor. A wildcat at heart, she remained at K-State for veterinary school and worked in the equine, small and large animal surgery, and ophthalmology departments as a student. She graduated in May 2023 and spent most of her first year working on horses. Dr. Farley decided to join Hempfield Animal Hospital to help ease the heavy case load. You can find her wearing purple and seeing patients Tuesdays through Fridays [citation].
