Dr. Schneider joined Hermosa Veterinary Clinic in December of 2022 and has been very enthusiastic about being able to help the patients of our clinic by offering things other veterinary hospitals cannot offer. During his first 8 years in the veterinary field, Dr. Schneider worked on expanding not only his medical knowledge but expanded his surgical skills into non-routine soft tissue procedures as well as orthopedic procedures. In 2020, he sold his part ownership of his practice in Arizona to move to Colorado, where he went to veterinary school, in order to reconnect with the four seasons. In 2023, he is hoping to completely build our Hermosa’s orthopedic department by being able to perform TPLOs to clients unable to afford or see a board-certified specialist. He loves trying to solve problems for clients when the obvious solution is not available. Outside of work, Dr. Schneider is either dabbling in playing imagination and Legos with his two children or doing one of many hobbies. He spends time in his wood shop or his paint studio. He also tries to get together with a group of friends weekly to play a board game, and recently has embarked on his first Dungeons and Dragons campaign. In the winter, now that he is back in Colorado, he enjoys the snow and tries to get up to snowboard when he has time. A Colorado native, Dr. Schneider enjoys reconnecting with the four seasons and the outdoor activities that come with them.
